So to see one on a console is fantastic and I canвЂ™t quite believe this one has slipped me by until now and the last time I played something remotely like this was Dungeon Keeper back in the day. Now I canвЂ™t remember for the life of me the last time I played a good dungeon building game certainly on a console. There is also multiplayer here and you can grab a friend and play through the campaign together or you can compete against each other. The single-player campaign sees you follow the story of Thalya who is a dark elf sorcerer who is on her own quest to conquer the continent she resides on at the command of the Dungeon Lord from the previous titles. Players are tasked with creating their own underground dungeons whilst defending it from attacks from invading foe from the world above them. The extra content involved will be that of seven different expansions which include: Once Upon A Time, Evil Of The Caribbean, Lord Of The Kings, Clash Of Gods, An Unexpected DLC, Famous Last Words and A Multitude Of Maps.Дungeons III combines dungeon building with real-time strategy elements.

Surprisingly this game passed me by and almost three years after it first arrived we are seeing a launch of Dungeons III Complete Collection which is essentially the base game with all the downloadable content bundled into the package and there is a fair amount of it.

Developed by Realmforge Studios and published by Kalypso Media it was actually launched on October 17th 2017 to PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One and Playstation 4 and it marked the first entry to consoles after the previous game in the series which arrived in 2015.

Growing a simulated economy and building a base full of angry orcs and spitting naga, then unleashing them on innocent unicorns and happy bunnies? ThatвЂ™s a damn good time.Dungeons III has actually been around for some time and launched to Xbox One way back at the tail end of 2017. And the more opportunities to be evil I had, the more fun everything was. I noticed a few bugged campaign quest lines as well, and I had to manually restart a level after an important character died and failed to respawn.Д«eing evil-and perhaps more importantly, managing evil-is fun, though. Even on my GTX 970, grouped particle effects turned the game into a bad rave as viewed through a strobe light. The worst of these were cratering framerates any time a lot of magic users went to war in one place. There are a few technical issues and bugs that IвЂ™m hoping Realmforge will resolve in the coming weeks. The place in question is basically just a fantasy genre parody, but at least it commits to the bit. Watching orcs lift weights in the training room, or seeing a powerful unit do 666 points of damage is always worth a smirk, and it does a lot to provide a sense of place. I donвЂ™t think time will be kind to Dungeons 2вЂ™s script.Д®lsewhere, the gameвЂ™s winking sense of silliness hits a little stronger.

Though I like the joke, it already feels five years out of date. ThereвЂ™s an elaborate send-up of banks on a fortified street, the Wall Street (wink), requesting gold-laden donkeys from the kingвЂ™s government. HeвЂ™s also the chief source of humor and pop culture references, jokes that land about half the time and will seriously date the game as years go by. In addition to dropping subtle hints (вЂњThe Unspeakable Evil knew heвЂ™d be needing a larger treasury, so he built oneвЂќ), heвЂ™ll also berate me if IвЂ™m taking too long to complete an objective. I feel like I know a lot about the lore of this world, and thatвЂ™s mostly thanks to a reactive narrator who talks through most of the game. One thing I didnвЂ™t expect is that Dungeons 2 spends a lot of effort pulling off elaborate world-building.
